The city market is designed in accordance with the buildings from the inner city, dimensionally and architecturally not deviating from the existing dominant form in architectural expression. The town of Kreševo is located along the banks of the river Kreševčica, and the altitude of the place is 640 m. The whole area of Kreševo municipality is extremely beautiful because of the high ridges, hills and mountains that surround it. Such a city undoubtedly led us to design a building with a sloping roof and a playful facade reminiscent of traditional Bosnian architecture, but the material emphasizes that it is a modern building in the old town. The location on one of the busiest roads in the city and a direct connection with the riverbed, has conditioned the market solution to be designed as an airy building, with a semi-open ground floor which is easily accessed via a plateau directly leaning on the adjacent road.
On the ground floor there is a business space through which you can go to the terrace open above the river, and two toilets for market users. In the south-eastern part of the building there is an open staircase through which access to the gallery, which is the same as the ground floor in one part open, and in the other closed. The attic space is designed as a small shopping center with 5 business premises, of which the largest office space accessed directly from the main staircase, is formed as a fireplace hall with the possibility of opening and closing. The fireplace hall space can be used for various events, and within it there is also a bar, and it can serve as a cafe, pastry shop or restaurant.
