The conceptual design for the building was focused on modern architectural design, with a great accent on communication with nearby nature. Floors under a sloping roof, and glass wall in the full height and width of the ground floor to make the natural environment as close as possible to the interior of the space. Architectural interpretation is characterized by simplicity, trying to preserve the existing qualities in the overall picture, and to create a quality urban ambience in the wider area with new construction. The compositional content distribution is divided into two floors. 1. Public part of the building – ground floor 2. Residential part of the building – 1st floor. Separating contents into separate units, interconnected by vertical and horizontal communications, creates the necessary privacy in the residential part of the building, and certainly communicativeness of the public part of the building with other contents at the location both to the objects and the surrounding nature.
The building is designed in simple building materials that should contribute to the visual qualities of the entire area. Selection of materials, colors and a cover adapted to the ambience and tradition of the climate with contemporary architectural expression. The gas station is not conceived as purely a finite content related to infrastructure but as an added value to a wider urban context. This was attempted by green oasis with elements of urban equipment (benches, lighting, waste bins, etc.), as well as various contents within the building itself. In order to compensate for pollution of air polluted with exhaust gases, plant species that help purify the air (lime, hazelnut tree, etc.) are planted.
